On Wednesday, September 17, the students at Hollywood Arts spent the day with visiting members of the William Morris Talent Agency. Students were paired up with William Morris employees for one-on-one workshops focusing on marketing and self-promotion. Students also had the opportunity to participate in a lengthy Q&A session with the William Morris employees, who stayed afterward for an Acting Improvisation class. It was an incredibly successful session and an excellent learning opportunity for both the students at Hollywood Arts and their new friends at William Morris.

Hollywood Arts is proud to announce our second student production, “The Artist’s Manifesto: A Night of Truths,” taking place October 1st Ricardo Montalban Theatre in Hollywood. Drawing influence from early 20th-century movements including Dada and Surrealism, our students will be performing and exhibiting their original work expressing personal artistic truths through a variety of mediums: spoken word, music, photography, theater and painting. The night will also serve as a celebration of our students’ achievements during our recently completed summer session – students who completed our Certification program will be awarded with their Certificates of Achievement. We are also proud to announce that three of our students will be commended at this event for their recent enrollment at Community College.

As with “Let’s Get Loud,” our hugely successful production at the end of our spring session, “The Artist’s Manifesto” will be an entertaining, enlightening, and truly unique night of performance and celebration. We invite everyone, whether they are an old friend or a new member of Hollywood Arts’ community, to come and share in this very special event.
