My name is Gregory Butler and I am on the Board of Directors for Hollywood Arts.
As a musician and an executive, I understand first-hand the mission of Hollywood Arts to use the arts to save lives.
|
Being given the chance to help these young people develop confidence and life skills in such a direct and effective way is a rare opportunity of which I strongly urge everyone in the arts community to take advantage.
It's very easy to become wrapped up in work. But every minute I spend with the students at Hollywood Arts reminds me of the powerful role artistic and creative expression has in helping all of us become healthy, balanced human beings.
I believe that arts' activities, education and therapy, will give these young people the chance to believe in themselves, and create very different futures then the ones they face right now.

Kaiser has generously supported the Hollywood Arts Music Program knowing the first step in getting our students off the streets is to give them a place to process the emotional challenges they've faced before they are able to move forward, happily and in good health.
