is Tommy Tallarico and I am honored
to have been the first annual Dream Awards
recipient last weekend at Raleigh
Studios.
Eighteen years ago, I had an idea, an idea to
change the way players heard video games.
Driven by this idea, I worked tirelessly and
with commitment to create new audio
soundscapes for video games.

After years of hard work and determination,
my dream turned into Tommy Tallarico
Studios--today, the multi-media industry's
largest
audio production house.
Determined next
to
bring the richness of video game music to new
audiences, I created Video Games Live, an
audio-video concert experience
performed by top orchestras and choirs
across the world.
However it was accepting the award from
Hollywood Arts that I felt real pride. In
recognition of the role my parents played in
my life, I was proud to pass the award to my
father. And I was proud to look into the
audience and see a room crowded of my friends
who cared, like I did, about the kids
Hollywood Arts' serves. I was proud to see
that the video game industry cares.
I would like to thank all the companies that
supported me and Hollywood Arts. It was truly
my honor to have been recognized by you.
