    Rico

Things are looking up for Michale. After living on the streets for six years, this twenty-two year old's life changed significantly a couple of weeks ago. In the same week, he signed a lease on his first apartment and learned that he'd been hired as a summer intern at Comcast Entertainment Group. " My life has changed drastically. I'm envisioning all of the possibilities that the future can bring, and I've never been more excited!" Thanks to Comcast for continuing to provide opportunities for our students!

Students Learn from The Pros in "The Business of Music"
    Business of Music

The Business of Music class is back at Hollywood Arts, and the students are getting inspired by the speakers visiting! Guest speakers share insights about their careers--what they do, how they got there and other career advice.

Sony Music Executive "Automatic," Jason Hollis, founder of Punk Aristocrats-Creative Entertainment Group, and Mariam Joan from Alfred Music Publishing are just a few speakers who have spent time talking about their careers in the music industry. Do you have insight into the music business? If you are interested in offering an internship or mentorship to HA students, please e-mail Meera at meera@hollywood-arts.org
